Sindy Blair Literacy and Numeracy Interventionist
Sindy has worked as a Literacy and Numeracy interventionist in Alberta public schools for several years. She has also worked as an assistant to both speech-language therapists and occupational therapists. Sindy enjoys walking, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
Ashley Krause Tutor
Ashley is a university student completing her Bachelor of Arts Degree and Bachelor of Elementary Education. Ashley already has many teaching hours through a private English as a Second Language school in the heart of Kelowna, as well as tutoring hours through Okanagan College. With a passion for teaching Ashley thrives to help learners understand new concepts and ideas.
Outside of work and education, Ashley enjoys playing sports and hiking through our beautiful landscapes. Quality time with friends and family is an important and vital aspect in Ashley’s life.
Lynne Brown Director & PACE Professional
Lynne is a career educator having taught several different grade levels in both the Alberta and BC public school systems, as well as college classes. The most rewarding years of her teaching career were spent with students having special needs which prompted Lynne to earn a Masters of Education degree in Special Education. After several years of collaborating with community service providers to create the best possible program for the students in her special education classes, Lynne returned to university to complete the requirements to earn membership in the BC Association of School Psychologists.. Keeping up with current research and a passion for learning led to a PhD program, for which she has completed all coursework.
Aside from her career, Lynne enjoys being active and taking in all that the beautiful Okanagan valley has to offer. Lynne believes that contributing to our community is both a privilege and a responsibility and she pursues such opportunities as a member in a Kelowna Rotary club. Time spent with friends and family is a precious and sought after ingredient in Lynne’s life.
