We know that there is a lot on your mind, from your health and safety of your family, to your work, child care and your children’s need for an ongoing education. While the COVID-19 outbreak continues to evolve, at this point Oak Learning Centre will be proceeding with our sessions. Taking the lead from government statements we will request that anyone who has travelled outside of the country during the month of March to refrain from attending Oak Learning Centre.
We will be taking added precautions to maintain the health and safety of our clients and those that work at Oak Learning Centre. Although we typically adhere to a “green” cleaning philiosophy, we are currently using cleaning products that are either alcohol, hydrogen peroxide or ammonia based. This, along with additional scheduled cleanings is done with your health amd safety in mind.
A regular routine with consistent sleep patterns, continued learning activities and the usual behaviour expectations will minimize anxiety as we all come to terms with this unprecedented situation. With this consideration in mind, we are confident that due to the nature of our business, the limited number of individuals in the centre and the personalized sessions, we can monitor our clients and staff. Your calls to us and the current low risk to the Canadian public as reported by our government, were a significant factor in our decision to continue providing services.
Wishing everyone good health, happiness and continued learning.

“Lynne has been a great help. She has been friendly, flexible and focussed on our areas of concern. Our child felt comfortable in the environment and was very patient working with her. We look forward to seeing further improvement.”
“I’m so grateful that you sent word out about Oak Learning’s communication skills camp. My daughter is in day 2 of the five-morning camp, and it is fantastic. The kids are very similar in age and ability, and the leaders are second to none: Joan & Marilyn. I can’t imagine a more supportive environment, and they are actually learning about communication skills. Great stuff.”
“My son began the program upon entering grade 4 and his first term report indicated that he was “meeting expectations” as compared to last years comment of “approaching expectations”. Morgan’s focus and ability to attend in class has improved greatly.”
