Vicky Wallace Therapist

Vicky’s services include individual Play and Sand Therapy sessions, as well as Expressive Arts groups. Play Therapy alleviates most emotional and behavioral difficulties and Vicky specializes in childhood anxiety, trauma and bereavement. She also works with children on the Autism spectrum.

Vicky has been working in the field of child development, group facilitation, and family support for the past 15 years. She has extensive multi-cultural experience and has provided therapeutic services to Aboriginal and refugee communities in BC, in Ireland, and Uganda.

Education includes a degree in Child and Youth Care, specializing in Mental Health from the University of Victoria. Vicky has over 320 hours of Play and Expressive Therapy training with RoeHampton University in London and Play Therapy UK. Other certification includes Motivational Interviewing and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.
